One of my favorite designers of the site, and also a favorite of LaCigaleshop, is Tammy & Benjamin, displaying an endless selection of chic and quirky handbags inspired by 30s aesthetics and the modernity of the 2000s.

When I first chanced upon LaCigaleshop on Instagram, I was pleasantly delighted. Always on the lookout for distinctive, finely-crafted fashion pieces that almost nobody else is carrying, LaCigaleshop was the perfect destination for myself, with their highly selective curation of items handpicked from Parisian designers in terms of quality and versatility. Coming from a creative background, I am constantly intrigued by the creative process of any accessory, from its roots and inspiration to the birth of the final product. In addition, LaCigaleshop being a platform which introduces designers as creatives with their own vision and inspiration, is crucial for people like myself when making any purchase, as they help me decide if a piece I own is worthy of collection, during my endless search for higher emotive meanings in a materialistic world.

Incorporating colorful, contemporary prints in their classic bag designs is a popular hallmark of theirs, but I am also a huge fan of their everyday little black handbag, the Emma, which is so adorably appropriate for a girl on the go. Tammy & Benjamin is definitely a brand worthy of investing in for a timeless, quality classic.

An accessory representing the epitome of Parisian chic requires an equally chic co-ord, which explains this dark crimson cami dress from Beyond the Vines. The slightly heavy fabric and structured design was loose and breathable but regal, and I traipsed about the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay feeling just a teeny bit like royalty on that day.
