Minimal Chic

While minimal shoots tend to incorporate white backdrops or statement geometrical architecture, I have decided to go in the opposite direction by shooting in the middle of living greenery to achieve an interesting blend of modern minimal perfection with the wilderness of nature.

My second look for Annielka is a minimal one and features many delicate pieces largely from Petite Grand, now my favorite brand of minimal jewelry. Anyone who knows me knows that I love minimalism, and despite it being a worldwide trend, I have come to love its Asian roots and its role as an art form in film, photography and interior design. Most importantly of all, minimalism as a lifestyle has truly started to resonate with me. The true minimalist aims to reduce clutter in physical, mental and spiritual areas of their life so that energy is focused and direction and purpose is imbued upon the life path. It is something which requires constant reflection and reinvention, and I work towards this in my never-ending journey of self improvement.

Thus this look with its minimal themes is my favorite of the three, and I specially chose my other great love, nature, as a backdrop for it. While minimal shoots tend to incorporate white backdrops or statement geometrical architecture, I have decided to go in the opposite direction by shooting in the middle of living greenery to achieve an interesting blend of modern minimal perfection with the wilderness of nature. I loved how it turned out and I think Mother Nature really outdid herself with this one, for it really looks and felt as though I was walking in a living, breathing fairytale.
