There is nothing greater and more beautiful than Mother Nature, and in that moment I knew I was witnessing one of the most magical things in the universe.

Karon beach was one of the main reasons I looked forward to my stay in Phuket, and it was definitely one of the places I visited more than once, for I harbor a deep unending love for the sun, sand and sea. The last night I was in Phuket, I just had to visit it one last time. It was sunset, and I had never seen a more gorgeous sky. I spent hours just standing in the shallow waters, watching in awe as the sky darkened over time, savoring the slightly chilly evening breeze as the waves lapped about my calves. The beach was more secluded at this hour as the sun’s warm rays had disappeared, and I could not help but bask in what seemed like the solitary beauty of the sunset. It brought with it a rare tranquility which was almost nonexistent in the bustling city scape I was used to in my homeland Singapore.

There is nothing greater and more beautiful than Mother Nature, and in that moment I knew I was witnessing one of the most magical things in the universe.
